A black wall sconce with graphic effects

This black wall sconce stands out for its geometric lines and minimalist design. Its rectangular silhouette dresses the wall without weighing it down. The black creates a sharp contrast on a light wall and draws the eye, even when the light fixture is switched off.

Once lit, Blocco takes on a different character. Light comes out of the top and bottom of the block, as well as through its thin openings. It draws beams across the wall and turns a plain surface into a decorative feature.

The block is made of aluminum. Its smooth surface and simple shape put the emphasis on the lighting effect rather than on the object.

What kind of light does this designer wall sconce give?

The light of this designer wall sconce is indirect: it lights the wall rather than your eyes. The visual comfort is real, and the resulting atmosphere is conducive to relaxation. In a living room or a bedroom, it provides a pleasant glow without glare.

Used alone, it acts as a focal point on the wall. Installed in a series, it sets a rhythm in the space. Blocco complements a ceiling light, a pendant light or a floor lamp and takes over in the evening for calmer lighting.

Where to install this modern wall sconce?

In a living room, this modern wall sconce highlights a decorative wall or shows off a piece of furniture. In a bedroom, placed on each side of the bed, it creates a restful atmosphere. In a dining room, a pair frames a sideboard and accompanies meals with a soft light.

This wall sconce also suits an office or a kitchen. Its black finish pairs with wood, glass, concrete or natural stone, in a contemporary, industrial or minimalist interior. Its compact format fits on a narrow section of wall.

For a series, mark a level line so you can align the blocks at the same height. Also keep the same spacing between each sconce, so that the beams echo one another.

Which G9 bulb for the black Blocco sconce?

Blocco works with 1 LED G9 bulb, not included. Warm white gives the beams a soft and welcoming tone, well suited to living spaces. Neutral white makes the pattern of the rays sharper.

If you install several sconces, use the same bulb everywhere to get identical effects. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

For maintenance, switch off the power and let the bulb cool down. Then dust the block with a dry cloth and run a soft brush through the openings.
