Ceiling Light Fixture | INEZ

The Inez ceiling light by Sollux Lighting is a small aluminum cylinder, mounted on the ceiling and pierced with vertical slots, that lights downward and lets the light escape through these openings. It measures 10 cm long, 10 cm wide and 10 cm high, takes a G9 bulb and comes in white, black or gray.

A designer ceiling light with glowing slots

From a distance, Inez looks like a simple spotlight. Up close, the slots in the shade let rays of light through. On this designer ceiling light, this detail creates a futuristic effect.

At 10 cm on each side, it stays very compact. It finds its place in the smallest rooms, as in a long passage. When off, the slots form a discreet pattern on the cylinder.

Its style is modern. It also fits an industrial or minimalist decor. The shape stays geometric and sober, easy to pair with other light fixtures.

A ceiling spotlight that lights downward

The main light falls toward the floor. This ceiling spotlight lights a table, a piece of furniture or a passage. It forms a clean spot of light under the cylinder.

The light also spreads through the slots. Fine rays settle around the fixture. The ceiling thus gains depth, especially in the evening.

You choose the tint with the bulb. A warm white creates a restful atmosphere. A neutral white gives a more functional light. In a series, keep the same bulb throughout.

An aluminum ceiling light, in 3 colors

The shade is aluminum. Its smooth surface cleans easily. This aluminum ceiling light keeps a clean look over time.

White blends into a painted ceiling. You then mostly see the light and the slots. Black marks the ceiling with a graphic point.

Gray offers a discreet compromise. It goes with concrete and stone. The 3 colors have the same dimensions and mix easily within the same home.

Where to install this hallway ceiling light?

This hallway ceiling light is installed in a series, at regular intervals. The cylinders light the floor in successive spots. In an entryway, a single one is enough above a piece of furniture.

In a bedroom, this ceiling light is spread as 2 or 3 units across the ceiling. In a living room, it highlights an armchair, a console or a shelf. In a kitchen or an office, several aligned cylinders light the work surface. In a dining room, they follow the length of the table.

Inez takes 1 LED G9 bulb of 12 W maximum, not included. The fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. For maintenance, switch off the power, then wipe the aluminum with a soft, dry cloth.
