Ceiling Light Fixture | PURO RATTAN (Beige/Crème)

The fabric and rattan ceiling light PURO RATTAN by BPS Koncept combines a cream beige fabric shade with a natural rattan diffuser. Available in 50 or 60 cm diameter, it takes 2 E27 bulbs and mounts directly to the ceiling. The rattan filters the light and gives it a warm tone. A light fixture with a natural, soft and welcoming spirit.

A cream beige ceiling light with a rattan diffuser

This boho ceiling light brings together two materials that go well together. The shade, in structured cream beige fabric, gives the light fixture its round shape and clean line. The rattan diffuser, visible when you look up, adds the texture of an openwork weave. Where most ceiling lights have only a plain cover, this one shows real material.

When lit, the light passes through the rattan and takes on a golden tint. When off, the weave remains a decorative pattern that warms the ceiling. The beige and cream tones go with light wood, linen, white or sand walls and natural fibers, in a Scandinavian interior as well as in a more boho setting.

Two diameters: 50 or 60 cm

The round ceiling light PURO RATTAN comes in two sizes: S, 50 cm in diameter, and M, 60 cm, with a shade 15 cm high in both cases. The S suits a bedroom, an office or a kitchen. The M fits in a living room or above a dining room table.

Mounted flush with the ceiling, it keeps the volume of the room clear and suits low ceilings, where a pendant light would hang too low. Like the other BPS Koncept light fixtures, this model is handmade in Poland.

Which bulbs for this E27 ceiling light?

The PURO RATTAN ceiling light takes 2 bulbs with an E27 base. The bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of color and intensity. E27 LED bulbs work very well: they use little power and give off little heat. Warm white brings out the rattan and creates a restful atmosphere, neutral white gives a sharper light in a kitchen or an office.

Rated IP20, this model is intended for the dry rooms of the home. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

In which room should you install this rattan ceiling light?

In the living room, this living room ceiling light provides the main lighting and spreads an even light throughout the room. In a bedroom, its light softened by the fabric contributes to a calm atmosphere.

In a kitchen or an office, two neutral white bulbs provide the brightness needed day to day. Above a dining room table, the large size lights meals without dropping into the field of view. Combined with wall sconces, a floor lamp or a table lamp, it creates lighting from several points, more comfortable than a single source.
