The Sunde ceiling light fixture by Sollux Lighting is a hexagonal PVC ceiling light, white or black, that can be installed alone or in a group. It measures 30.5 cm long and 26.5 cm wide, comes in 3 heights from 11.5 to 15.5 cm and takes 2 E27 bulbs.

A hexagonal ceiling light with a geometric shape

Sunde follows the shape of a regular hexagon. This hexagonal ceiling light becomes a geometric decorative element. It makes a change from the round or square ceiling lights seen everywhere.

Light spreads in all directions. It creates a halo on the ceiling around the light fixture. This effect highlights the outline of the hexagon.

The style is modern and design-led, with a touch of Art Deco. The 6 sides give a crisp outline. The light fixture suits contemporary interiors as well as more graphic decors.

A surface-mounted ceiling light for low ceilings

Sunde is surface-mounted, directly against the ceiling. This ceiling light for low ceilings does not take up much height. It comes in 11.5 cm, 13.5 cm or 15.5 cm heights.

The 3 heights have the same shape. The hexagon measures 30.5 cm long and 26.5 cm wide. You choose the height according to the effect you want, discreet or more pronounced.

The body is made of PVC. This material is lightweight and easy to maintain. The white blends into the ceiling, while the black draws a bolder pattern.

Several ceiling lights grouped in a honeycomb

Sunde can be installed alone, in the center of a small room. It takes on another dimension when you group several of them. The hexagons then form a honeycomb pattern on the ceiling.

You can mix the 3 heights in the same composition. The ceiling gains relief as a result. You can also combine white and black for a checkerboard effect.

Each ceiling light needs its own electrical supply. Plan the number of light points before the work begins. Sketch the composition on paper before drilling into the ceiling.

Where to install this ceiling light for a living room?

In this role as a living room ceiling light, it is placed above the sofa area. A group of 3 to 5 hexagons lights the whole area. A single ceiling light is enough for a reading corner or a small entryway.

In a bedroom, this ceiling light is installed in the center of the ceiling. In a dining room or a kitchen, a composition follows the length of the table or island. In a hallway, a few aligned hexagons guide the way.

Each ceiling light takes 2 LED E27 bulbs of 15 W maximum, not included. They can be replaced without changing the light fixture. The light fixture is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry rooms only. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
