Ceiling Light Fixture | PURO RATTAN (White/Cream)

The fabric and rattan ceiling light PURO RATTAN by BPS Koncept pairs a cream white fabric shade with a natural rattan diffuser. Available in 50 or 60 cm diameter, it runs on 2 E27 bulbs and mounts directly on the ceiling. Beneath the shade, the rattan warms the light. A bright, warm light fixture with a natural spirit.

A cream white ceiling light with a natural rattan diffuser

On this bohemian ceiling light, light and natural tones answer each other. The structured fabric of the shade, in a luminous cream white, keeps the room bright. The natural rattan of the diffuser, visible from below, brings the warmth of a woven material. The white lightens the rattan, and the rattan keeps the white from looking cold.

When lit, the ceiling light gives off a soft light, filtered by the weave. When off, it keeps a decorative presence thanks to the rattan pattern. It goes well with light parquet flooring, white walls, linen or green plants, and fits just as well in a bedroom as in a living space. It is a light fixture that adds texture without darkening the room.

A round ceiling light in two sizes

This round ceiling light comes in S (50 cm diameter) and M (60 cm), with a shade 15 cm high. The small size lights a bedroom, an office or a kitchen, the large one a living room or a dining room. In both cases, the light fixture stays well proportioned and does not crowd the ceiling.

Mounted flush against the ceiling, the light fixture does not hang down into the room: it is a good solution when height is limited or when a pendant light would get in the way. BPS Koncept makes this model by hand, in Poland.

Which bulbs to choose for this E27 ceiling light?

The PURO RATTAN ceiling light runs on 2 bulbs with an E27 base. The bulbs are not included, which lets you choose the color and intensity of the light. E27 LED bulbs work perfectly, for reduced consumption. A warm white highlights the tones of the rattan, while a neutral white suits rooms where you work or cook.

Rated IP20, this ceiling light is intended for the dry rooms of the home. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where to install this fabric and rattan ceiling light?

In a living space, this living room ceiling light serves as the main light fixture: its 2 bulbs light the room broadly, with no pronounced shadow. In a bedroom, the fabric shade softens the light and makes the atmosphere more restful.

In an office or a kitchen, neutral white bulbs give a clear light, suited to daytime activities. In a dining room, the large size lights the whole table. Complemented by a floor lamp, wall sconces or a table lamp, it lets you vary the mood depending on the moment.

Cream white fabric, natural rattan, two diameters to choose from: the design ceiling light PURO RATTAN by BPS Koncept combines brightness and natural charm. A light fixture at home in a Scandinavian, minimalist or bohemian interior.
